Richard B. Kreider, PhD, FACSM, FASEP - Exercise Physiology
Dr. Richard Kreider reviews medical content for Healthwise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help people make better health decisions. Dr. Kreider is the Director of the Exercise and Sport Nutrition Laboratory and Center for Exercise, Nutrition, and Preventive Health Research at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He has conducted many studies on nutrition and exercise and has published 3 books, more than 400 research articles and abstracts in scientific journals, and over 150 articles for health and fitness magazines. He also founded and directed the PhD program in Exercise, Nutrition, and Preventive Health that ranked 10th in the 2008 Academic Analytics Productivity Index.
