Ternberg, MD, PhD, Distinguished Professor of Pediatric Surgery at St. Louis Children's Hospital and the Apolline Blair Professor of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Warner has special interests in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. He has served as President of the Society of University Surgeons and in leadership positions with the American Academy of Pediatrics' surgical section, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Pediatric Surgical Association. Dr. Warner has been the principal investigator on two National Institutes of Health grants and runs an active basic science laboratory. He has spoken at numerous events including the Society for University Surgeons, Association for Academic Surgery, American Society for Parental and Enteral Nutrition, American Pediatric Surgical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Warner has contributed more than 180 articles to journals and has authored or coauthored numerous book chapters and has published a number of abstracts.
